it is reported from Dambulla Police that a attractive 34 year old husband having two children had  mortgaged-his wife to a friend to a drug addict friend for a sum of Rs 25000/-
The drug addict who had taken money from a friend over a period of over a month to purchase drugs had not been able to pay the capital and interest on time had handed over his wife in lieu of the borrowed money.
